The School Partnership Trust is an educational charity with its members drawn from the public sector and Trustees appointed on a voluntary basis. Led by our CEO Sir Paul Edwards and with Accredited Schools Group Status the School Partnership Trust has a proven track record as well as the educational expertise, capacity and experience to secure transformational change and sustainable school improvement and is currently responsible for the leadership and governance of a number of schools including Academy Trusts, Foundation Shared Trusts and National Challenge Trusts.

 

As the lead institution within the School Partnership Trust, Garforth Community College provides tried and tested models for school improvement and other areas of support and activity.  The College has been the top performing school in the North of England for the last four years on every indicator including 5A*-C including English and mathematics.  The schools within the School Partnership Trust ‘chain’ which currently includes foundation primaries, secondaries and 11-19 academies and National Challenge Schools provides enormous resources that are able to be shared between member schools for raising standards of attainment, improving standards of inclusion and behaviour and creating capacity for further growth.

 

492840726_gvias-oFormed in 2004 the School Partnership Trust has a proven track record for school improvement and has established an organisation which provides a 21st Century model for collaboration between the public sector and a not for profit organisation with public accountability.  It currently works with over 6,000 students, 800 staff and the organisation is able to provide educational advice, consultation and intervention services on a nationwide basis or consider support services or lead sponsor positions with Academy Trusts and Federations within the North of England.
